Family Ready uses native controls, semantic labels and adaptable layouts. It does not claim certification or complete conformance with a named accessibility standard.
Implemented support
- Dynamic Type: app text uses scalable Apple text styles and wrapping layouts.
- Bold Text: native typography responds to Apple display settings.
- VoiceOver: important controls include labels, hints, combined reading groups and hidden decorative elements.
- Increased Contrast: cards, borders and controls adapt to increased-contrast settings.
- Reduce Motion: button feedback avoids nonessential animation when reduced motion is enabled.
- iPad layouts: readable-width layouts and adaptive navigation support iPhone and iPad.
- Keyboard navigation: supported where provided by native iPadOS controls; complete hardware-keyboard testing remains pending.
- Large touch targets: primary controls and critical actions are designed at or above 44 points.
- Readable typography: high-contrast dark text, plain language and restrained visual density support easier reading.
Testing status
Source inspection and successful compilation support these implementation statements. Full physical-device testing with VoiceOver, maximum Dynamic Type, Bold Text, Increased Contrast, Reduce Motion, hardware keyboards, Split View and Stage Manager remains required before release claims are expanded.
Website accessibility
This website includes semantic headings, a skip link, keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus indicators, responsive text, large targets and reduced-motion support. Automated and manual audits are still required on the final deployed domain.
