Family Ready does not monitor emergencies, detect danger, dispatch help, automatically call emergency responders or guarantee that a trusted person will see or act on shared information. Phone actions still require a user decision and depend on device calling capability.
No medical diagnosis or treatment
Health fields are user-entered reference information. Family Ready does not diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, verify medications or replace a clinician, pharmacist, official medical record, Apple Medical ID or another appropriate source. Independently verify medications, allergies, conditions and care instructions.
No professional advice
Family Ready does not provide medical, legal, insurance, financial or other professional advice. Plan notes, wishes, document locations and exports are not automatically legally binding and do not replace properly prepared documents or qualified advice.
Delivery and availability are not guaranteed
Notifications, local reminders, invitations, synchronization and access may be delayed, unavailable or fail. Operation can be affected by device condition, battery, connectivity, permissions, account state, operating-system behavior, third-party service availability and whether information was saved or synchronized.
User-entered information can become outdated
Family Ready depends on the information users enter and maintain. It may be incomplete, incorrect or outdated. Review it regularly, confirm important changes with appropriate sources and keep independent copies of critical information.
Sharing has limits
Only share information with people you trust and only when you have permission. Revoking access prevents future authenticated retrieval but cannot erase a printout, PDF, photograph, export or other copy someone already retained.
